What Speak Your Book Is

Speak Your Book is a voice-first book development platform that helps professionals, coaches, consultants, speakers, and experts discover, organize, and develop the book that is already inside their experience.

We help you uncover your material through guided conversations. We do not write your book for you. AI assists with transcription and organization — but every idea, story, and insight in your book comes from you.

By using Speak Your Book, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at hello@speakyourbook.co.

Your Account

To access the full Speak Your Book platform, you will create an account using your email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Please notify us immediately at hello@speakyourbook.co if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

You Own Your Content

Everything you create through Speak Your Book — your recordings, your written answers, your transcriptions, your Book Compass, your Chapter Map, and the resulting manuscript — belongs to you.

We do not claim any ownership or license over your creative work. We process your material solely to provide the service you signed up for.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your material for the purpose of delivering our service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

AI and Authorship

Speak Your Book uses AI to assist with transcription and to help organize the material you provide. The outputs generated by the platform — your Book Compass, Chapter Map, and Book Directions — are derived directly from what you said and wrote.

The author remains the source.

If you choose to publish a book that was developed through Speak Your Book, you are the author. The content came from your experience and your words. We make no claim to authorship or attribution.

We do not use your material to train AI models.

Payments

The Guided Book Blueprint is a one-time payment of $299 at the time of writing. Pricing may change as the platform develops. The price you see when you purchase is the price you pay — there are no hidden fees or recurring charges associated with this tier.

The Author Partnership is priced by custom scope and requires a direct application. Pricing for this tier is agreed upon in writing before any payment is processed.

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your credit card information.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to the service you paid for, please contact us within 14 days of purchase at hello@speakyourbook.co and we will work to resolve it. Because Speak Your Book provides digital access to a process and platform — not a physical product — we do not offer refunds except in cases of verified technical failure on our end.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Speak Your Book in good faith and in accordance with its purpose: to develop a book grounded in your own experience and expertise.

You may not use Speak Your Book to:

Produce content that misrepresents another person's work as your own.

Submit material that is defamatory, fraudulent, or illegal.

Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.

Circumvent any security feature or access control.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

Privacy

Your use of Speak Your Book is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the service, you agree to the practices described there.

You can read the full Privacy Policy at speakyourbook.co/privacy.

Disclaimers

Speak Your Book is provided "as is." We work hard to maintain a reliable, high-quality service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that using Speak Your Book will result in a published book, a completed manuscript, or any specific commercial outcome. Results depend on your engagement with the process.

The platform is not a substitute for professional editing, literary representation, or publishing services.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Speak Your Book and its founders will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or violations of applicable consumer protection laws.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or by notice within the product. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.

Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith. If a formal dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, it will be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
